ROADSIDE SPRAYING

St. Johns, Michigan – The Clinton County Road Commission would like to announce that some of the primary and local roads have been chosen for either foliar or brush spraying this Spring and early Summer.  The spray material to be utilized is EPA approved and safe for use on our road system.  The contractor is an approved and licensed applicator registered to spray this material in a safe and effective manner.

The control of brush, within the right of way of the established county road system, is critical in maintaining the usability of the road system in both agricultural and urban areas.

Notice is hereby given for spraying the county primary roads, from and including Airport Road east covering Greenbush, Bingham, Olive, DeWitt, Duplain, Ovid, Victor, and Bath Townships.  The spray program will include several miles of local roads located within some of the sixteen individual townships.  If the brush is cut when the spray contractor arrives, there will be no need to spray.  If there are concerns regarding the spray program, or if you have special needs to be considered, we would like to hear from you.

As the spraying is scheduled in the near future, please contact the Clinton County Road Commission office, at 989-224-3274, as soon as possible with any concerns you have so that they may be taken into consideration.
